Currently enjoying a Grilled Salmon fillet with Salad in this tiny little diner that looks... well... a little run down.
The staff are friendly, and the food is awesome but this tiny (just over 9 table) diner will need a makeover if it wants to compete with other dining establishments in the city.
The food averages at about $15.00 for anything other than a sandwich.
    Definitely worth a try.

One of the things I enjoy about travelling (or even if it simply involves catching the train into the city) is that you get the opportunity to try out places that you normally wouldn't in your day to day like. Okay, I can't actually say that this place was one of those wonderful places that I stumbled across, but it wasn't all that bad. It's a small coffee shop next to one of the hotels, and they serve a nice breakfast. I ended up having the fruit salad, which I have to admit isn't all that easy to mess up, but it was nice and refreshing. I have to admit that I didn't really like the tea though because they didn't strain it, which meant that it was a little to strong for my taste.

Located on Eliabeth Street, opposite Hyde park, it's a strange mix of café and restaurant. I guess that's the point - you can choose what you would like it to be.

Theres tables inside and out, and towards the back it has the whole restaurant feel. And the whole choosing thing goes with the price too - from $5 to $30 you can choose if you want to be at a restaurant or a café.

Theres croissants in the window, and foccacias and the like, so its lunch on the go if you want. Or, if you're on your way back from the gym, theres a protein shake for sale. The little things! Nice, flexible, comfortable place that is exactly what you want to make of it.

    I like it.

My husband & I ducked into this little cafe and were greeted warmly and invited to look at the menu to see if it would fit the bill... it did, we stayed, had a delicious meal and were on our way.  He had the eggs Benedict and I had a chicken wrap--just tasty and perfect for what we were looking for!  Check it out!!
